Weekend Recap: Stuffed grilled Plantain + Smoothie

Hello Alakoholics!!
How are you doing today? It's monday again.....hurray!!!
My weekend was A-W-E-S-O-M-E and I intend to tell you all about it. By the way my definition of awesome may not be your definition of awesome because I did not go anywhere aside from church and the salon :D

You all know by now that I love cooking, I shared a recipe Here although, I hate going to the market to buy the things I actually need to cook. *sigh*. Anyway I follow @chef_dudu on instagram and  believe me when I say the guy is really good. I really don't like following chefs in general because I usually cannot relate with the food they cook. They are usually too 'continental' for me, maybe because I am a picky eater. So this weekend I decided to try the grilled plantain stuffed with vegetable and sausage I saw on his Instagram page. It turned out really nice and I am super proud of myself.

All you need for this is plantain, sausage( you can use tuna, shrimp, beef, anything at all), green pepper, tatashe, carrot and seasoning. That's all you need, grill your plantain and stir-fry your vegetables and you are good to go. I don't remember chef dudu giving this deliciousness a name. Suggestions anyone? I had fun all the while :)
Then on Sunday I went to church, learnt about mammon (the spirit of money). Most people think that mammon is money itself but it really isn't. I would do a separate post on the things I learnt because I think everyone should know about it since all some people know how to do is chase money.
I made my hair later in the day and made smoothies for dinner. I combined apple, pineapple and farm-fresh youghrt....YUMMY!!

Yummy Smoothie.

And that was how my weekend went, Awesome right? I know. Remember that your feedback, questions and suggestions are always welcome.
I love you for visiting my blog today,
XOXO,
Ifealako.
