A True Alako Story

Hey guys! how are u all doing? What are your plans for the weekend? please let me know :D

Since you all are now my online friends *bats eyelashes*, I thought you all deserved to know the true story behind my gele tying on Sunday. If you follow me on Instagram (@ifealako) you have seen some of the pictures already.

So on Sunday I decided to tie gele and believe me it was not because I wanted to, but because I had to.  I was having a MAJOR bad hair day. That was the actual reason I decided to wear a traditional gown in the first place, so that I could have a reason to tie my gele. I can count how many traditional clothes I actually have, but thanks to bellanaija and the rest I have started to realise traditional clothes are totally cool.
 I have been on my natural hair for the past three weeks now, all in the name of letting my hair breathe. I need to give a shout out at this point to all those natural hair sisters, you guys are REALLY trying oh. My hair isn't even *natural* and what I went through to style my hair, my hands cannot type it. From watching youtube videos on how to style natural hair to mixing olive oil, leave-in conditioner, sheabutter, hair cream.............THE STRUGGLE WAS REAL.
 Anyway, I did get lots of good comments from people about my makeup and my gele that Sunday. Here are more pictures;

                                                  why was i boning tho?

I love you for visiting my blog today, and I wish you all an Alako filled weekend.
xoxo,
Ifealako.
